Red Hot Pottery is the place to come for fun and
relaxation with your friends, family, while on a date
or with just about anyone you can think of. We are
a paint-your-own-pottery studio that specializes in
FUN and the pottery you paint is the bonus you get
to keep for having fun with us. Our employees are
friendly and very helpful. Have a question or want
to know how to do something, just ask and we will
do everything we can to help. You won't find a
better place in SLO to spend hours having fun with
your friends and family.

We are open 7 days a week and NO
APPOINTMENT is necessary. But you can call and
have us save a seat for you if you want.

How about painting a flower pot or flower vase for your favorite
spring flowers or design your own coffee or hot chocolate mug.
Tired of your roomates taking your mug, visit us and make one
with your name on it, better yet; bring your roomate and make one
for them too! How about a piggy bank that reminds you what your
saving for... (vacation fund, fair money, gas money, date money,
new clothes, whatever...) Need some really cool kitchen utensils?
How about making a personalized cookie jar, sugar dish, butter
dish, a set of mixing bowls, cereal bowl, a trivit and so much more.
How about coming on a date and making wine or margarita
glasses for each other. Need a new clock for the wall? We have
them and you can put just about anything on it. Why not make a
picture frame to remind you of that special someone or that special
vacation last summer.

We have stuff for every part of your house from the kitchen to your

with that special saying or whatever is personal to you.

FREE Parking!

Red Hot Pottery and the City of San Luis Obispo will pay for your parking
while you are visiting our store. It's very simple. Just park in the parking
garage located right across the street from us and then bring your parking
ticket into the store. If you purchase any of our pottery or jewelry we will
validate the parking ticket. The first hour is free (courtesy of the City of SLO
and the validation will be worth one hour, giving you 2 full hours of free
parking. It's our way of saying thank you for visiting our store and spending
your time with us. Look for our parking poster that the city put together for us.
It will be posted in all the parking garages around town throughout the month
of March and various months throughout the year.

Pajama Party!

We are hosting a pajama party EVERY TUESDAY. It's simple and it's fun! All
you have to do is come in wearing your pajamas on any Tuesday after 4pm
and you will get a 10% discount on anything you purchase.

Ladies Night Out!

Who: All women
When: Every Thursday

It's a ladies night out PARTY. Bring in ALL your friends, a bottle of wine (only
if you are 21 an over), food and whatever else you want and have a great
time with your friends painting all the pottery you want. No boyfriends,
husbands, kids or animals allowed. :-) Come in with a party of two women
every Thursday after 4pm and get a fantastic 10% discount on anything you
purchase.

We encourage creativity, and we try hard to make sure you have
all the supplies you need to creat a masterpiece. However, we
can't carry everything needed for every technique. If you find
supplies you want to bring in you are always welcome to do so.
Stickers are a good example, you put the sticker on your pottery
and then paint over the sticker. Once the paint dries just peel the
sticker off and the shape is left. We have a few stars and letters.
But, if you find a sticker that you like at the store please bring it in.
Butterflies, bugs, animals, etc work great. Another fun idea would
be to use string. Wrap the string all around a cup and then paint
the cup. When the paint dries remove the string (rubber bands
work for this too). We don't have any string or rubber bands, but
you are welcome to bring them in with you. Whatever you need to
make your creation unique is welcome. Be creative!
