So you want to know how this whole thing works? It's simple, all you have to do is show up and have fun. We will help you every step of the way or leave you alone... It's up to you! Painting pottery is fun and easy and take just 6 simple steps: |
Step One: Look around the store and pick out your piece. This is probably the hardest step. We have hundreds of pieces to choose from. |
Step Two: Decide what you want to paint on your pottery. You can draw your design with a pencil (the pencil will burn away in the kiln). Deciding your design in advance will help make the next few steps go a lot easier, but skipping this step is just as fun. |
Step Three: Pick out your paint colors and any other supplies such as stickers, stencils, stamps, paint brushes, splatter brushes, etc. We have lots and lots to choose from. |
Step Four: Paint and decorate your masterpiece in any way you want. No need to worry about perfectiion here. It's your work and hand made art is never cookie cutter perfect. In fact the imperfections are what make it unique. |
Step Five: This is the easiest part. Leave it with us so we can fire it in our kiln. This is where the colors pop out and everything comes together. |
Step Six: The best part, come back and pick up your finished stuff. Great for gifts, decorations, to use in your kitchen and around the home, and so much more! |
