Red Hot Pottery is the place to come for fun and relaxation with your friends, family, while on a date or with just about
anyone you can think of. We are a paint-your-own-pottery studio that specializes in FUN and the pottery you paint is
the bonus you get to keep for having fun with us. Our employees are friendly and very helpful. Have a question or
want to know how to do something, just ask and we will do everything we can to help. You won't find a better place in
SLO to spend hours having fun with your friends and family.
We are open 6 days a week and NO APPOINTMENT is necessary. But you can call and have us save a seat for you if
you want. (recommended for parties of 6 or more)

We encourage creativity, and we try hard to make sure you have all the supplies you need to creat a masterpiece. However, we
can't carry everything needed for every technique. If you find supplies you want to bring in you are always welcome to do so.
Stickers are a good example, you put the sticker on your pottery and then paint over the sticker. Once the paint dries just peel the
sticker off and the shape is left. We have a few stars and letters. But, if you find a sticker that you like at the store please bring it in.
Butterflies, bugs, animals, etc work great. Another fun idea would be to use string. Wrap the string all around a cup and then paint
the cup. When the paint dries remove the string (rubber bands work for this too). We don't have any string or rubber bands, but you
are welcome to bring them in with you. Whatever you need to make your creation unique is welcome. Be creative!
